Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question? – On this page we have listed the most frequently asked questions from our patients, if you don’t find the answer to your questions, feel free to give us a call or drop us a note.
⚕ What is your cancellation policy?
We request 24 hours’ notice of cancellation and there is a $50 cancellation fee for last minute cancellations – although we are always willing to waive this in extenuating circumstances.
⚕I am not sure what the best treatment is for me. Do you offer consultations?
Envisage offers free or bulk billed initial consultations, we “don’t charge for a chat”! So you can come in for an assessment with Dr Leat, or any of the nurses or our dermal therapist, at no charge, and obligation free of course.
⚕What anti-ageing treatments do you have?
In one sense most of the treatments that we offer are “anti-ageing” in that they can help to stop or reverse the effects of ageing on the face. Probably the most anti-ageing treatments are platelet rich plasma treatments (“PRP” or Factor 4) often combined with skin needling, Intense Pulsed Light (“IPL”) and careful use of dermal fillers to replace lost volume.
⚕What are the payment options that you have at the clinic?
We offer cash or EFTPOS payments, HICAPS for Medicare refunds, and we also have two options for after pay payment plans, Zip Money and My Health & Beauty.
⚕What kind of facials to you offer?
We have a selection of facial treatments including micro-dermabrasion, skin needling, peels and skin infusions. For stronger effects we offer medical grade IPL and CO2 fractionated laser peels.
⚕What qualifications do the staff have at Envisage?
Dr Chris Leat is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Physicians. He has been working full time in Cosmetic Medicine on the Gold Coast since 1995. Janet, Natalie and Danny all are qualified nurses and each have many years of experience in cosmetic medicine and cosmetic injectables. Meghan is a qualified beauty therapist with higher qualifications in infection control and lasers.
