Treating pigment loss with Activa Regenera

Before treating pigment loss and scarring with Activa Regenera

I am very excited to share our first results of treating pigment loss and scarring with Activa Regenera.

This patient was left with very significant square and rectangular white patches of pigment loss and scarring following IPL treatment at another clinic here on the Gold Coast 13 years ago. The patches were up to 50cm2 on both shoulders and down both upper arms.

They have been unchanged for 13 years.

Up until now there has been no effective treatment for this type of damage and pigment loss.

The only treatment this patient has been offered by a plastic surgeon is surgical excision of one of the scars, which will leave another scar. No laser, PRP, needling or other injectables will help with depigmentation in my experience.

She has had a single treatment with Activa Regenera, and these pictures were taken 3 months apart. Already there is considerable re-pigmentation in the damaged area, with the sharply defined edges of damaged skin becoming much less apparent. These are early results. Further substantial improvement is hoped for over the coming months.

This is very exciting. Finally we may have a treatment that is simple, safe, and appears effective in treating different causes of pigment damage and hypo-pigmentation. Not only that but we are expecting that in many cases a single treatment will give a permanent benefit.

 WHAT IS ACTIVA REGENERA

Activa Regenera is a novel type of stem cell treatment. Skin cells are taken from tiny biopsies at the back of the head and a stem cell (in fact progenitor cell) solution is prepared that can placed into the damaged skin with micro-injections. The process is all performed in clinic in one sitting and is quick, safe, quite painless, drug and enzyme free, and virtually side effect free.

WHAT CAN REGENERA BE USED FOR

Regenera is more often used for both male and female pattern hair loss, where a single treatment increases hair density by an average of 30%.

Initial studies show great promise for the treatment of: VITLIGO, STRETCHMARKS, PIGMENTATION LOSS and some SCARS.
